We work together with our clients to structure their cross-border business activities. The main areas of activity here are the application of the rules of international private law, and matters relating to the validity and drawing up of clauses on the competent court and arbitration, taking account of the relevant bilateral
or multilateral conventions in international law. Equally,
the application of the UN Sales Convention or INCOTERMS is covered as is the
structure of cross-border contracts, taking account of the relevant financing
mechanisms. One of our practice’s specialities is dealing with the French
market, because we have a
large number of French clients whom we advise in German law
and German clients whom we assist with business in France, working with our
colleagues based in that country.
