BRP advises Eberspächer on the entry of the mobility service provider DKV Mobility into PACE Telematics GmbH

The mobility service provider DKV Mobility has participated as a strategic partner in the provider of Connectivity and IoT solutions PACE Telematics. The Esslingen-based automotive supplier Eberspächer already holds a stake in PACE Telematics and was provided with comprehensive legal advice from BRP by a team led by Dr. Axel Neumahr.

PACE Telematics GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, is one of the technologically leading providers in the field of Connected Car Services. The core product Connected Fueling offers drivers the possibility to pay their fuel bill with their smartphone directly at the gas pump.

DKV has been one of the leading mobility service providers for the logistics and transport industry for over 80 years. From cash-free route delivery at more than 140,000 cross- brand acceptance points to toll collection and value added tax refunds, DKV offers a host of services for optimizing and managing vehicle fleets across the whole of Europe. The DKV MOBILITY SERVICES Group employs more than 1,200 people. In 2019, the Group achieved a transaction volume of EUR 9.9 billion and operated in 42 countries. 

The Eberspächer Group employs a workforce of about 10,000 at 80 locations worldwide and ranks amongst the leading system developers and suppliers of the automotive industry. The family-owned company based in Esslingen am Neckar stands for innovative solutions in exhaust technology, vehicle electronics and air conditioning for various vehicle types.
