Manuel Kastner
Manuel advises national and international clients in the field of international business law, commercial law and IT law. His practice includes contract drafting as well as litigation.
Manuel drafts contracts for the purchase and sale of goods and draws up general terms and conditions of purchase and sale. He also deals with the special aspects of cross-border trade and advises his clients on matters concerning the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).In addition, Manuel drafts contracts for the provision of IT services and drafts terms of use and license agreements for software.
In the event of warranty claims, outstanding payments and other disputes in connection with the performance of a contract, he represents his clients out of court as well as before courts or in arbitration.
Manuel studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Bologna. During his studies he specialized in international private and procedural law. He also completed additional training in French law and supervised academic exchanges between the law faculties of Heidelberg and Montpellier. During his time in Bologna, he worked in an international Italian law firm with a focus on arbitration.
Manuel is a member of the Working Group on International Business Law of the German Bar Association.
Manuel speaks German, English, French and Italian.
