Dr. Martin Beutelmann, LL.M.
Martin advises national and international clients on all aspects of German and European competition law and represents their interests before authorities and courts. He also deals with agency and distribution law and advises on compliance measures.
Martin studied law at Konstanz and Mannheim universities and at King’s College London. He received his doctorate in 2004 after completing a thesis on the assessment of selective distribution systems under EU Competition Law. Prior to joining BRP in 2010, he worked for several years at the law firm Gleiss Lutz in the competition law department. As a lecturer at both the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie (German Lawyers’ Academy)and at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Martin is also active in education and training. He is a member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht (Society for Antitrust Law) and regularly publishes articles on antitrust and distribution law issues. He advises clients in German and English.
