Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Phys. Ulrich Mair
European Trademark and Design Attorney
Ulrich works at BRP as a patent attorney on national and international issues. He pays particular attention to technical property rights.
After studying physics at the University of Augsburg with a particular focus on solid state physics, he became a PhD student at the Institute for Remote Sensing Technology Institute of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). He received his PhD from the Institute of Space Systems, University of Stuttgart. Ulrich has worked as a patent attorney and european trademark and design attorney at BRP since 2012. In 2013, he qualified as an european patent attorney and has been a partner of BRP since 2014.
He speaks German and English.
In 2020, 2021 and 2022, Ulrich has been recognized as a leading expert in intellectual property law in the ranking „Germany´s Best Lawyers“ released by the US specialist publisher Best Lawyers and the Handelsblatt.
