Stefan Bausch
Johannes advises on all aspects of German and European competition law. He represents national and international clients before courts and authorities and in extrajudicial disputes, especially in civil antitrust litigation, cartel fine proceedings and merger control cases. Besides, he has a focus on internal investigations and compliance measures. He also advises on agency and distribution law matters.
Johannes studied law at the University of Freiburg and King's College London (LL.M.). He received his doctorate after completing a thesis on majority stakes in professional sport leagues. Prior to joining BRP in 2017, he worked for several years at the law firm Gleiss Lutz in the competition law department. In 2007, Johannes worked as Foreign Associate with the Swiss las firm Pestalozzi in Zurich. He is member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht (Society for Antitrust Law) and publishes articles on antitrust law. He advises clients in German and English.
